A federal infrastructure package would probably cater to lobbyist demands, not market demands. It would likely include billions of dollars for transit, even though the ridership outlook is grim. Via: @Cato

The economy will not roar back to life until people feel safe enough using transportation, going to workplaces, shopping, and dining out. No political leader can issue an order and make that happen. Via: @Cato
