Barring aid from religious schools discriminates against religious schools and families who want that kind of education for their children.

This was a 5-4 decision in favor of school choice. The Montana Supreme Court unconstitutionally prevented families from using the program to choose religious private schools for their children. That was a violation of the free exercise clause.

BREAKING: The U.S. Supreme Court just ruled that excluding religious schools from private school choice programs is unconstitutional.
