92% of Americans think the share of the world population in poverty has increased or stayed the same over the last two decades. Of those who realize poverty has declined, most underestimate the extent. In fact, global poverty halved over the past 20 years. http://j.mp/2Fgn9Zu

Over the last 25 years, the U.S. gun homicide rate has fallen by over half while the gun violence victimization rate has fallen by about 70%. So, why does it seem like gun violence is a growing problem? http://j.mp/2Fg1q3L

No, capitalism is not "a coercive economic system that creates persistent patterns of economic deprivation." It's a system of voluntary exchange that has led to the greatest reduction in poverty the world has ever seen. http://j.mp/2sEvROr
