I ran for Governor under the promise that we’d control spending and deliver meaningful tax relief to Nebraskans. We’ve since curbed spending to an average annual growth rate of 2.8%. And delivered $12.7 billion in total tax relief. Nebraska is proof that state governments can deliver excellent government services and still return significant amounts of revenue to the people – after all, it’s their money. Thanks for the A rating and recognition, Cato Institute!
